Wee Forest Folk is a small family business in Carlisle, Mass. which delights in producing an absolutely adorable line of miniatures - most of which are mice.
Annette Petersen created her first little critter over 30 years ago. Since then, her children have learned the ways of the mice and have even created their own. Each piece is a casting from an original sculpture by either, Annette, Donna or Willie.
Each sculpture is hand sanded, and meticulously painted. Enormous amounts of time and patience go into the creation of each and every one. Each year new pieces are introduced to the line and some are retired.
Carol’s Cottage by the Sea is proud to carry Wee Forest Folk. They are simply wonderful. I had the privilege of touring the “factory” last summer, and meeting Annette. It was simply amazing to see these wee little creatures come to life.
